The News section has been severely neglected which is not good.  The reasons why it has been neglected however are!  We have been extremely busy and there are a lot of exciting new developments.  One of our artists Benjamin Gilbert will have his song “of all things” appearing in a motion picture called “The Message”  you can watch a trailer of this film at www.messagethemovie.com  We are also gearing up for our first series of radio releases which will include:
Benjamin Gilbert – Do it all again
Submit – Monotone
Julie Huber – Deep breath of heaven
There is a great online radio station where you can check out these songs and many others.  Just go to:  www.heartradiousa.org
We are also working with movie and video game developers to use our songs in their media as well as working with a company to licence our songs for commercial use.  So things are moving along quickly and it is an exciting time to be part of the Bought Records family!

We are excited to announce the signing of Julie Huber to Bought Records.  Julie is from a small town near Seattle, WA and has a nice mix of songs that are piano and acoustic guitar based.  We will be starting work on her debut album over the next few months and expect to look towards completing it in the fall or winter of 2010.

After spending a week of insanely long days in the studio Benjamin Gilbert has laid the initial tracks for his first full length Bought Records cd titled “The Static Tells a Story”.  At this point we have acoustic guitar, drums, and vocals finished.  There is still a lot of work to be done.  We are still working on bass, piano, electric guitar, fiddle (oh yeah!), and orchestration.  Once we get all of the parts there it is onto mixing, mastering and finally the cd release parties!  Having had the pleasure to work on the album myself I can assure you all that this is a collection of songs that are destined to get stuck in your head, heart and lives!  The lyrical topics explore almost every angle of the Christian experience.  The music also spans the spectrum of what is capable in modern music.  From piano ballads through hard driving rock this album delivers!  I can hardly wait to share this amazing album with the world!
